Christmas Parades & Cookies

Well....it's that time of year again.
When you bundle up in so many clothes you can barely walk, leave
45 minutes early just to walk 2 blocks and stand outside in the
freezing cold to watch the Christmas parade.
Seriously....When we left, the thermostat on the truck said 33!

If you ask me...there is a thin line between having Christmas
spirit & being mentally insane! ;o}

Here we are freezing waiting for the parade to start.
Kayla was sure to get a good seat...she was hoping for
someone to fill her lap with candy.

Can you see all of the red noses?
After the parade we went to the church for some hot
chocolate & cookies.
It took a while...but I finally thawed out! ;o}

It looks like a fun time. Our christmas parade is on Saturday and it's during the day, so hopefully it won't be too cold. Our forcast shows the mid 60's during the day, so i think it'll be alright.

Last year i remember freezing to death, though. The wind was fierce, the weather way tooo chilly to be sitting outside, but good memories, nonetheless.

...and i can always warm up with a Starbucks or some hot cocoa!
