When in doubt....don't

Well---I was gonna start off by saying that it's been

for EVER since my last post...but that seemed a

little cliche' :)

So, with that said...

Everything here on the home front has been about the

same. The kids are growing up way too fast, time is moving 

way too fast...and it seems that my hair is turning a really

light blonde, almost platinum in places...WAY too fast, 

it's definitely not gray though...I would tell

ya if it was...honest. :)

ok-maybe some of it isn't blonde!

I don't know if anyone even reads this anymore...

but there is a reason why I haven't blogged in so long.

You see...I have had some things on my mind...that really

shouldn't be shared...and everytime I would go to post...

those things would somehow end up in there. No matter

what the subject was...there they were.

I guess that's called venting...right? :)

That's something I really can't afford to do....

BUT

If I could say one thing...to get my point across...

without saying anything...to incriminate or hurt 

any one individual...

 It would be...

When it doubt...don't say anything at all.

Words to live by, wouldn't you say??

If you have to begin a sentence with,

"I can't believe I'm telling you this."

OR

"I really shouldn't say this to you."

Then go with your first instinct and don't say anything at all.

That's simple enough isn't it??

Apparently not...I have had some things said to

me within the last few months that have left

me speechless...and my jaw dropped.

I'm sort-of in an awkward position when that happens.

What to do?? I have no clue...So, I just stand there

with this dumb-founded (I can't believe they just

said that) look on my face...

Have you ever seen Prison Break??

Really good show...off the air now because some

crazy writer had to kill off the main character!!! Which still makes me mad when I think about it! Seriously...people recover everyday from brain tumors!!

Anyway-

The main character, Michael was the type of person who always had a comeback. Not just any comeback either...it was always a clever one. One that totally caught the other person off guard...he wasn't rude, or mean...just smart...(it was almost like a professional screen writer had thought about it for months. lol)

I wish that I could be like that...

There are some things that you shouldn't say to

anyone...much less to the pastor's wife about the pastor.

Results

Well...results are in...the good news is...the

ulcers are just stress related :)

I guess if that can be good news...but one

thing I've learned...things could always be worse!

After some meds they should be well underway to healing :)

Stressed out

Did you know that stomach ulcers can cause cancer??

Seriously?? Isn't that crazy?!

Had a Dr's appt today to check my blood, my thyroid...

well, just about everything (she's goes to my church

and wants to cover all the bases)

I have 2 ulcers...atleast I did in June.

I think they have since married and started a family :)

because I have lost 23 lbs since then. Sure, I can

tell I have lost weight...but I didn't think it was

that much of a difference...still don't really :) but since

I can't walk into church without someone asking

me "what's wrong with me" I thought I'd better

have it checked out.

Results should be in soon.

Honestly...I think it's just stress.

It is just me or does it reflect poorly when

the Pastor's wife is stressed??

I mean, if anyone should things all figured out

and together...it should be the one who lives

with the man of God...right?

I don't remember my pastor's wife being stressed

about anything when I was a kid...she was

perfect (in my eyes)...she could cook some of the best

Italian food I had ever ever tasted, her house was

always spotless...she was always calm...

collected...quiet...dressed to a T...always knew

exactly what to say to make you smile...

Miss her so much!
